    • What do we mean by postcolonial mission and how does this affect contemporary understandings of evangelism?
    • How does Britain’s Imperial past, rooted in the atrocities of empire, impact contemporary understandings of mission and evangelism?
    • How can we learn from the global church in developing missional congregations?

    These are just some of the questions that will be addressed in this Common Awards webinar entitled: Rethinking Mission and Evangelism...

    Dr Cathy Ross, leading missiologist, contextual theologian and head of Pioneer Mission Leadership Training, Church Mission Society, will be in conversation with Rev Dr Anderson Jeremiah, outstanding theologian and lecturer in World Christianity, Lancaster University. The Webinar will be hosted by Chine McDonald, writer, broadcaster, and Head of Community Fundraising and Public Engagement at Christian Aid.

    The event took place via Zoom, 30 October, 2-3pm.
